ECODIESEL - FUEL FILTER REMOVAL TOOL ('14-'18, 3.0L 1500, TOOL ONLY, NO PLUG)
On the Ram 1500 EcoDiesel truck, removal of the fuel filter is not so easy. It is hidden underneath the bed of the truck, about mid-way back and just to the left-of-center.
This wrench fits snugly on the bottom of the fuel filter canister and grabs the four tabs on the outside of it making removal easier.
If you plan to do your own fuel filter changes, this is a "must have" tool in your toolbox.
Note: This is for the tool only. Replacement drain plugs are no longer available.
